Chuck E. Cheese FUNdraising Family Night

This is our first fundraising event of each school year which helps raise funds to support Science Camp.  Chuck E. Cheese generously donates 20% on the sale generated from this event!

Friends and family are encouraged to come to Chuck E. Cheese for an afternoon (and evening) of food, games, and fun!

Chuck E. Cheese Family Night typically takes place in August and event flyers are sent out with the students' communications folder.

Scholastic Book Fair

Every October, the Adelante PTA partners with Scholastic to host 5 days of Book Fair in our campus to promote and inspire reading in our students.

Adelante PTA plans, prepares, promotes, and runs the Fair with the help of dedicated parent volunteers every year.

Students can visit the fair before and after school, selecting from a huge collection of books and supplies to expand their home libraries and support the school at the same time!

Spring Carnival

Adelante PTA organizes this popular afternoon festival every spring featuring delicious food, classic carnival games, and fun to bring the whole school together.

This event is the perfect  for students, parents, and teachers to connect and strengthen the Adelante community.

Pachanga

The Pachanga is an annual evening celebration that brings parents and teachers together for a night of delicious food, live music, dancing, and fun.

More than just a fundraiser with raffles and silent auctions, the Pachanga is all about connecting families and bring the strong community that makes Adelante special.

Reading Marathon

Adelante PTA organizes a reading marathon fundraiser every year in February to promote reading during the winter break.

Each student receives a reading log, a sponsor sheet, and rules packet to get them started.

This program takes place over a span of 3 to 4 weeks with prizes for students who read the most and those who raise the most money.

Teacher Grants

Adelante PTA is committed to providing our amazing teachers with the resources they need to create innovating and enriching learning experiences for our students.

Through our Teacher Grants Program, we directly support classroom excellence by helping fund a wide range of needs including essential classroom supplies, books, educational programs, and many other enrichment opportunities for teachers and students.

Fall Festival

Adelante's Fall Festival is organized and run by our 5th Grade Families and Students for the school community to come together and celebrate the changing of the seasons.

The festival is packed with great food, games, arts and crafts, and features a hunted house for a lot of fun!

Adelante PTA is proud to support the 5th Grade by helping promote, rally parent volunteers, and sell tickets for this event.

Leyendo bajo las Estrellas

This enchanting evening event, typically held in November, transforms our school into a cozy outdoor reading haven.  Specially decorated camping tents are setup in our campus inviting students to step inside and enjoy a story-time read by our dedicated teachers and parent volunteers.  The evening, organized and run by our wonderful teachers and parent coordinators, concludes sweetly with traditional pan dulce and hot chocolate.

Adelante PTA supports this event by promoting and coordinating parent volunteers.

Bienvenida

This is a "Welcome Back to School" afternoon that takes place about a week before the official start of every school year.  New and returning families are invited to come to campus, meet their new teachers, and tour their new classrooms.

Back to School Night

This is an evening event that takes place a couple of weeks after the official start of every school year.  Parents are invited into their children's classrooms, meet with the teachers, and get all the key information on classroom expectations, curriculum goals, and how to best support your child's learning journey throughout the year.
